In this episode, we interview CrossFit Athlete Jan Matiaska.


We discuss his varied high school sports experience while he was in the U.S. during his senior year where he grew to love football. After heading back to Switzerland to go to University, he continued playing football, but had a few experiences that gravitated him towards the sport of CrossFit.


We dive deeper on topics like recovery, training habits, building your discipline, and of course, some highs and lows of his career thus far.


Jan is a CrossFit Games semifinalist and is striving to make it to the CrossFit Games one day.
